Terms of service
These terms explain the free core website offer, additional service charges and the rights applying to supplied work.
1. The free core website
Site Built Free may create an agreed core website without an upfront build charge. The exact pages, design and included functions depend on the accepted project scope. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a project will be accepted.
2. Additional features and later changes
The free offer is limited to the agreed initial core build. Advanced functions, integrations, online payments, booking systems, customer accounts, substantial revisions, later design changes, content updates, maintenance, hosting and other work may be subject to a separate service charge. Any charge should be agreed before that additional work begins.
3. Content and permissions
You must have permission to provide and use any text, photographs, logos, trademarks, files or other content supplied for the project. You remain responsible for checking factual accuracy and legal suitability before publishing the website.
4. Ownership and permitted use
All rights to the work remain with Site Built Free. No copying, resale or redistribution is allowed without written permission. Unless confirmed otherwise in writing, delivery of a package gives the named recipient permission to use it for the website and business described in the original request. It does not grant permission to resell, redistribute, copy for unrelated businesses, offer as a template, or claim the underlying work as a product created for resale.
5. Third-party components
Some website packages may include open-source software, fonts, icons, libraries or other components that remain subject to their own licences. Those third-party licences take priority for the relevant component.
6. Review and compatibility
You should test the supplied package on the intended hosting environment. Hosting providers, PHP versions, mail services, database settings and browser behaviour can differ. Site Built Free cannot guarantee compatibility with every server or third-party service unless that environment formed part of the agreed scope.
7. Download codes
Download codes are private and may be limited, disabled, replaced or given an expiry date. You are responsible for keeping your code secure and storing a backup after downloading the package.
